BCTrucker.com is an information exchange portal for truckers and others involved in British Columbia's trucking industry. The site is independently owned, and is not affiliated with any particular group, organization, manufacturer, or retailer. The services of this site are free for all users.
BCTrucker.com was founded to provide you with an easy and convenient method of swapping information, ideas, stories, and experiences. You can also use the site to keep abreast of trucking-industry news, and look up resources to make your job easier.
Our discussion forums allow you to interact with co-workers, company drivers, owner/operators, technicians, and others involved in the trucking industry, independent of company, affiliation, or organizational constraints. The forums include trucking-industry discussions, maintenance and tech discussions, equipment discussions, on-road experiences, and free classified ads. We also recognise the need for social interaction, and we have forums to allow you to keep in touch with your family and friends. With BCTrucker.com and mobile Internet access, you don't have to be alone on the road.
Our live newsfeeds continuously gather news articles from sources around the world, and you can catch breaking news about trucking in BC and the trucking industry in general, along with the latest news from the major truck and engine manufacturers.
Our links page contains valuable resources such as current road conditions, border and ferry wait times, and commercial cardlock locations.
The concept for BCTrucker.com was initially conceived during an online chatroom session one evening between two friends, Dan Dickey and Greg Sue. That night we bought the domain name and set up the site hosting, the next morning we set up the site framework and forums, and the site was up and running. You might say we're highly-motivated!
